Callum almost laughed when she called him a decent guy. He was a pirate, a rouge, and he didn't bother with nicesities that some people thought made them civil and better than others. It was pretty clear that she thought herself better than him by her chosen words but that didnt bother him either. In his life he'd met plenty of people who thought the same and he thought good on them if they could shove a stick that far up their arse and still be able to walk. Furthermore they must have the senses of a dung-beetle to think their shit doesn't stink.
That was all fine and well with him, and he shrugged it off. She was amusing though, suggesting that he wanted a friendship or a relationship. Pirates didn't do well with either of those. Firstly they could hardly be trusted to be called a friend and they weren't the faithful type to be in a relationship. Callum laughed when she said he should get a floozy, she was too funny. He took a drink from his mug and grinned.
"I think I'll do just fine without taking anything that you say seriously because clearly you think I'm someone else." He said and stood up. "I am Calum. It's a name that you will come to know well. And while you're sitting in your little hut making friends with horses I'll be out ruling the high seas." He gave a bow then turned and walked out the door. The world was calling for him, adventure was calling, danger was calling, even death was whispering in his ear, all of which were more interesting than her.
