She needed to explore, wanted to explore more, but she knew that with some places she could not take Santiago so today, Morana left her only friend behind so that he could rest fully. Today she went on foot and seemed to take longer as she would move through the trees that had surrounded Miador, the town she had slept in for the night, but she eventually got to a Ravine that caused her to stop dead in her tracks. Violet eyes looked around, spotting the rope bridges and wondered how in the hell did someone get those over the ravine. It was huge!

Despite her injury, the work clock never stopped for Natalia. While her usefulness with a bow had been reduced to little more than picking it up and down, she still had other talents. In the absence of hunting game to fill her purse, she wasn't opposed to other means of income. Headhunting was perhaps even a less a suitable option than the conventional variety, but information that led to someone else doing the capturing was a lucrative substitute.

Crime ran rampant nowadays and there was always somebody that wronged another. The human need for vengeance was a strong one. But the truth was no amount of blood spilt would ever fulfill any given man's definition of justice. While she never considered herself a mercenary, she dealt in information well. Her moral code was rather flexible at best. Murder wasn't something she turned her nose up at if such a victim brought it upon themselves. Just ask one of the bandits that ambushed her. As for theft, if you couldn't protect it then did you really deserve it in the first place?

Leaving Tol stabled in Miador, she was off to see a potential client in Ninvale when the presence of another form caught her attention. The woman was staring into the great fissure in the earth, seemingly impressed by the geological feature. Perhaps she would be too, if this hadn’t been her N’th time crossing the barrier. “Don’t fall in.” Her tones were acerbic in nature, but for the most part she didn’t wish the woman any ill will.

She hadn't been listening close enough to hear anyone coming up behind her though that was her first mistake as she jumped slightly at the female voice; for once. Violet eyes turned to the woman as she stood up straight. "I didn't plan on it." She would muse. Glancing in the direction of the Ravine and glancing down to how deep it possibly could be before she would return her gaze towards the unknown woman. She was dressed like a hunter, which didn't entirely shock Morana, but what she was hunting was curious. While Morana was merely dressed in leather jeans, a cloth shirt with a vest. Hair braided back into a fish tail braid. Nothing fancy here guys.

”Just because you didn't plan on it, doesn't erase it from being a possibility.” Death was something not even the strongest mortal could escape. Even the immortal we're bound to the cycle, only they got to repeat the game over and over. Death touched everyone, it's black fingers unforgivingly gripped around the throats of each and every one of them, just waiting for the desired moment to snap your neck. Fear of death didn't make one a coward however, but refusing to take the necessary risks that might lead to it however, did.

”The earth and the winds have a habit of taking what they want around these parts.” Despite the color of her eyes, she managed to deduce if she indeed had air in her blood, she wasn't from the former kingdom beyond the chasm. But even so, a master of that element could easily propel themselves across, no need for a gaping stupor.

"There is a possibility for everything." Death. Just about everything she could think of. Yet Morana ended up moving away from the edge of the ravine and slightly closer to the woman who spoke of the air and earth taking what they wanted, when they wanted. Violet orbs looking over to the hunter before back to the ravine. "Is there a Kingdom on the other side?" She would question, curious. Already she had run into someone from one of the kingdoms - Caldo - and had learned that there was more. She needed to know if there was more. She needed to be careful around her.

The woman was wise to pull back from the ravine’s edge. That was if she didn't want to join the piles of carcasses littered on the cliff face; all in various stages of decompression. From soldiers to ravaged mountain goats-alike, to say that this wasn't a graveyard of some proportion would be a gross miscalculation.

She asked if there was a kingdom on the other side, and all Natalia's hypotheses concerning her origins solidified with their original thoughts. ”What's left of one away.” Natalia let a sigh pour from her frame. She'd never known much about Tyrgere. When she had been growing up, it was already under Ombrian control - more or less. She only that they were seen as weak by Caldonians. In a martial society such as theirs, indifference and peaceful ideals were often scorned. At least Averians fought them. For the most part...as much as an animal backed into a corner would be able to. They didn't submit easily, unlike those of the earth and air kingdom, so for that, if anything, she had to commend them for. ”Why?”

What's left of one.. She wasn't sure that was an entirely good thing so she would glance over towards the woman she had no name for. "What's left of it?" She had heard things. Wasn't entirely sure if they had been good or not, something she had yet to clarify but eventually she would; right? And then she was asked why and Morana eyed her suspiciously. "I'm new here and seeking out information." Why else would she be asking these questions? Was there idiotic people here, or perhaps she was just over thinking this entire thing. It didn't matter. Morana wanted to know things about these lands.

An indignant scoff left her as Natalia caught the woman eyeing her with suspicion that seemed to tow the line of disbelief that she had even asked such a question. ”New, huh.” Natalia mused aloud. ”Yeah I guess that explains the lack of common knowledge.” She couldn't assume everyone possessed her uncanny ability to notice how the fine threads of life wove together. ”If you hadn't noticed the whole of the continent is practically in anarchy. To call the kingdoms ‘kingdoms’ anymore would be a stretch of an imagination.” She severely doubted that the kingdoms would reform to be just what they had been. Though that wasn't to say she believed the possibility of rebuilding something else on the foundation unfeasible. Humanity would always be locked in a cycle of destruction and resurrection, until they wiped themselves out. ”They not have war and strife where you're from?” She didn't appear to be some spoiled noble, but her seeming ignorance about rather obvious political situation - or lack there of one - screamed of cultural differences between her home and this stranger’s.

A slight roll of her violet eyes went by as she looked to the woman once more. Though soon she found a place to sit down on any broke log or a boulder big enough to hold her. Looking over the ravine where the 'kingdom' once stood and she wondered what it was like. Though to know it wasn't part of anything special caused it to not hold her attention for very long. "I wouldn't know. It's been a long time since I've been 'where I'm from'." And it had. Morana had left, vanished, disappeared as soon as she had seen it was safe to come out of hiding. Her parents bodies dead and Morana had now reason or strength to bury them. She had been a little girl. She had cried but had soon found out it wouldn't be safe.

“If you haven't been there and you haven't been here, where have you been?” Natalia mused curiously as she stood there. She was no stranger to the life of a vagabond, though usually the others she met were far more bitter and brazen. Life was too short not to take it by the horns. Her company didn't look like much, not in the way she was used to. Instead of someone who wore their wear outwardly, she was well put together, youth evident on her features. Perhaps only negligibly younger than her. But war had a way of changing people. She'd seen, and done, far more than the average woman her age, and despite her appearance Natalia was a contemplative woman. Driven by impulse like most other Caldonians, but capable of strategy and hindsight nonetheless.
